The Faculty of Science at University of the Punjab (Punjab University) is a large academic unit comprising one department, one school, one college, two institutes, and two centers . It plays a central role in the university's academic and administrative matters related to science programs and research. Further, proceedings of meetings of various committees and reports concerning policy matters and other duties assigned to the Dean by the Vice-Chancellor are also prepared for onward transmission to the quarters concerned. In the University of the Punjab, English is used as Medium of Instruction in the Faculty of Science.
